Cornwall Climbing Club (Formerly the Lands End Climbing Club) was formed in 1972 by a group of like minded individuals to meet, climb, and socialise. We are very active with most of the membership climbing at weekends when the weather allows and almost every Tuesday evening in the Summer at an appointed crag. We are very lucky in having access to some of the finest rock in the UK. We are BMC affiliated and have traditionally been (almost) exclusively oriented to Trad, but we warmly welcome you if you sport, boulder, wall at all levels or don’t even think in these terms and just want to enjoy our mix of rock and ocean. We do not provide official training courses, however we are excited by our partnership with the Newquay Sports Centre. We have a discounted pricing scheme for members and can help you get going and learn some of the basics. if you are in the early days of the sport and want to gain experience you will find members of all levels who will provide advice and knowledge on crags, conditions and route knowledge. We will be there on Thursday evenings from September to the end of March.
